Bring your memories into the future!
I have always loved the movies, especially old movies. My father owned a Super 8 movie camera as a teen and filmed his friends and family over the decades. Watching home movies is a fond memory of mine. Eventually I got the camera and started making my own movies while my Father upgraded to a massive over the shoulder video recorder.
It was apparent after a few failed attempts that I was not going to be a Director and formed a successful career in IT.
Years later my love of film and movies brought me to owning and operating my very own movie theater.
Over the years I have maintained an interest in film by collecting films, rare videos and negatives and converting my families trove of memories into the digital age.
Now I am offering my services to the public on a limited basis. Read on to learn more about what I do and how I do it.

What We Don't Do
Film duplication
Soundtracking - Trust us, you dont want your movies set to a soundtrack. It just sounds cheesy and gets in the way of talking about the content of the movie
Professional Printing
Photoshopping - The intent of our editing and restoration process is to restore and preserve the 'original' image. We do not have the skills to make you look 'better'.
Unlike many of the big companies that perform 'quickie' transfers we use a manually intensive process. The process varies somewhat depending on the media and price but in general follows these steps
Inspection - When we receive your materials they are inspected for any visible damage or deterioration that might require special handing. This is both a physical inspection as well as a play through of the material.
Cleaning - Next, for film media, your materials are cleaned with industry proven solutions that help to restore and revitalize the media before transfer. This process takes several days for the media to dry.
Transfer - For film media all of our transfer processes are 'touchless'. The media is never touched by fingers after cleaning and our film transfers are done without the use sprocket holes, allowing us to transfer even badly damaged prints.
AI Restoration - After transfer your prints (film, photo and video) are subjected to a series of AI programs, designed to upscale, remove noise and improve the overall viewing quality of the end result. This is another time consuming process that big transfer companies do not perform.
Delivery - The final result is placed online or on the media of your choice .
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
If you have just a few reels of film or video tapes, see our pricing sheet, wh ich should give you a pretty accurate estimate on your pricing. once we receive your media we will confirm reply with a fixed price and begin your project once we are in agreement. Pricing for a large project involving multiple media formats and different sizes and types of films can get complicated. It much easier for you to send us a few pics (make sure everything is visible) and send us an email. We will reply with a few different fixed price options for your project.
If you are local you can drop it off which is the safest option. If you require shipping then use UPS or FedEx and please use the Signature Required option. You can see our shipping page for more options
Thats really up to you. First we agree on what your deliverables will be (this is part of pricing), then you can select from a variety of delivery options. The cheapest is online, where you can download the files for free and copy them to media yourself. If you want them transferred to physical media we can do that as well as documented on the pricing page.
If you select to have physical media shipped to you, it will be shipped separately from your original media. We shipped the transfers first and once we confirm receipt we ship the originals. We never ship them together for fear of loss. However, we do keep backup copies of our transfers for 30 days after shipment.
Tell us a little bit about your project. We will get back to you as soon as you can with some ideas of how we can make your story shine.
